The New Cook Baby!!!

Andrea and Brenton Cook had their baby this morning (Thursday, 04/28) at 7:30.  He weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces and is 21 inches long.  His name is Kasen.  Mom and baby will be coming home on Friday 04-29, Brenton said that with both families helping out, there is not a worry about them going hungry!  (You could probably call, or stop by to see how they are doing in a few days or so.)

 

The New Pierce Baby!!!

Thought that you would like to know that Anne & Nelson Pierce welcomed a son to their family on Tuesday April 26th!  Liam Alexander Pierce weighed in at 8 pounds 14 ounces, and was 22 inches long.  Jane mentioned this morning that mom and baby were doing fine, and would be home this afternoon, Thursday 04/28.  If you would like to help welcome this new little one into the world, and help mom and dad for the next few days, contact Sister Betty Stagg at 789-2479 to help bring in meals the next few days (through Monday).  Anne & Nelson are living with Jane for now, at 611 North 200 West. Anne's phone #: 970-683-1158, Nelson's is 970-683-1156.  Jane said she did not know of any food allergies, but that Anne has been dealing with Gestational Diabetes, but that Nelson would be glad to eat whatever she could not.

Fundraisers for the Youth to go to Camp

The Young Men and Young Women will be coming around on April 26th selling flags to be put in your yard on national holidays for the year.  The money that is raised will help pay for the youth to go to their camps this year.  The cost is $40 per flag.  Please help out our youth and show your patriotism.

The Young Women will also be having a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser on May 3rd @6:30-8pm.  Cost is $5.00 a person, $10.00 per couple, $20.00 for a family of 5 and $25.00 for a family of 6 or more.  Tell all your family, friends and neighbors to come out to dinner that night.

Patrick & Tori Mayes, had a son, James Patrick on  March 26th.  Patrick & Tori live at 250 North 854 West. They plan on building a home in our ward soon, and have moved their records to Vernal 5th ward.  They have appreciated the meals that have come into their home since their son was born.

Funeral Service for Nate Litton

Nate Litton, the Father of Ron Litton passed away. The funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 16th, at the Mortuary at 11:00 a.m.  The dinner might start around 12:30 or 1:00 p.m.
